Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch has been sold

A spokesperson for Burkle said he had been interested in neighbouring Zaca Lake to create a new branch of the club – which has locations in London, LA, New York, Miami and Toronto – on, but decided it was too remote and expensive.

Neverland’s value has plummeted over the last four years. In 2016, it was priced at $100million (£74.7m). A year late, the asking price was $67m (£50m).

The ranch boasts a 12,500 square-foot house, a 3,700 square-foot pool house, a separate building with a cinema and dance studio, a barn, fire house, zoo, and “Disney-style” train station. At one time, it also had an amusement park, although this was removed following the pop star’s death.

Jackson bought the property in 1987 and owned it until his death in 2009. He did not die at the property, dying of a drug overdose at a different home in Los Angeles’ Holmby Hills. He originally paid $19.5m (£15m) for the ranch.

In November, Florida rapper Daeshard shared a music video for his song ‘Hood’ that was filed at the Neverland estate. It was reported that the shoot had not been authorised and that a security team demanded Daeshard erased the footage on the spot upon being caught trespassing.

Pharrell says songs on Justin Timberlake’s ‘Justified’ were written for Michael Jackson

According to Pharrell, almost every song on Timberlake’s 2002 debut was put together with Jackson in mind. “All but one song, they were all written for Michael,” he said.

The producer claimed Jackson wasn’t interested in the tracks on offer, suggesting that he wanted something closer in style to Pharrell’s 1998 N.O.R.E. collaboration.

“John McClain was like, ‘Man, Michael don’t want that shit,’” the ‘Entrepeneur’ singer told the host. “‘He want that shit you’re giving Noreaga… he want that ‘Superthug.’”

Pharrell on Drink Champs said most of the tracks for Justified were originally made for MJ and MJ’s manager hit them back like “Michael don’t wanna sing over this shit, he wants the shit you be giving NORE” lmao

— Kibbutzy Collins (@atrak) December 19, 2020

On Friday (December 18), Pharrell weighed in on the recent dispute between Taylor Swift and Scooter Braun, after the latter notoriously purchased the singer’s former record label and the master rights to her first six albums.

“It’s really unfortunate, you know,” he told Variety. “There was room for him to make his acquisition because that’s just the way the business is, and I felt for her and not being able to be in control of it.”

The N.E.R.D. man also unveiled a new non-profit initiative this month. Black Ambition will support Black and Latinx entrepreneurs.

Pharrell’s charity is said to be committed to levelling the playing field for non-white entrepreneurs by providing them with funding, opportunities, mentorships and access.

Michael Jackson estate wins appeal in HBO ‘Leaving Neverland’ lawsuit

Last year, a lower court granted the Jackson estate’s motion to take the dispute to arbitration, as provided by the contract.

Michael Jackson and Wade Robson. Robson makes sexual abuse allegations in ‘Leaving Neverland’

HBO appealed, however, today (December 14) a three-judge panel of the 9th Circuit Court of Appeal upheld the lower court ruling. The judges said the suit may be “frivolous,” as HBO has claimed, but concluded that it would be for an arbitrator to decide.

“The contract contained a broad arbitration clause that covers claims that HBO disparaged Jackson in violation of ongoing confidentiality obligations,” the panel ruled. “We may only identify whether the parties agreed to arbitrate such claims; it is for the arbitrator to decide whether those claims are meritorious.”

HBO’s attorney, Theodore Boutrous, argued that the 1992 contract had effectively expired once each side fulfilled its obligations but the panel rejected his argument. “An arbitration clause can still bind the parties, even if the parties fully performed the contract years ago,” it ruled.

The entertainment company had sought to avoid arbitration in a bid to prevent Jackson’s estate or his heirs a veto over anything the network might ever want to say about him.

Now, HBO is left with the option of appealing the panel’s ruling to the full 9th Circuit or bring its case before an arbitrator.

Last year, the Jackson estate expressed its frustration after Leaving Neverland won a Creative Arts Emmy Award.

“For a film that is a complete fiction to be honoured in a nonfiction Emmy category is a complete farce,” the estate said.

Michael Jackson’s engineer Bruce Swedien has died

“He had a long life full of love, great music, big boats and beautiful marriage. We will celebrate that life. He was loved by everyone. Rest in peace dear sweet Daddy-ji. We will love you forever, Bea and Roberta.”

Swedien worked with Jones on Jackson’s 1979 album ‘Off The Wall’, along with his classic albums ‘Thriller’ and ‘Bad’.

Speaking in a previous interview with Sound On Sound, Swedien said: “Quincy and I first worked together with Michael Jackson on the movie The Wiz. We were living together at a hotel in Manhattan, and we would go to Studio A at A&R Studios. We had a big session at noon on Monday to record some of the music with a big 70‑ or 80‑piece orchestra, and we had to leave for the studio at 10am.

“The night before, Quincy and I had guests at our hotel for dinner, and Quincy still hadn’t even started on the orchestration for the opening titles. I was getting a little nervous, but he said not to worry about it. At about four that morning, I woke up and noticed under my door that all the lights in the apartment were blazing. There’s Quincy at the dining‑room table with a billion sheets of manuscript paper, and he was writing orchestrations. I said ‘Quincy, we’ve got to leave soon!’, but he just said ‘Don’t worry about it’ so I went back to bed.”

He continued: “At about nine o’clock I got up again, and Quincy said to me ‘I’m all set’. There wasn’t even a piano or a guitar in the apartment; just Quincy and his manuscript paper! Off we go to the studio, and Quincy hands over his score to the copyists. He didn’t even want to conduct – he’d hired a conductor because he wanted to be in the control room with me. The conductor gave the down beat, the orchestra played the entire overture, and there was not a single note out of place. It still gives me the chills to think about it!”

He also went into great detail about the recording of Jackson’s classic 1982 hit ‘Billie Jean’.

“I was allowed the freedom to make microphone choices, and nobody ever said a word. I just did it. For example, I used a Shure SM7 on most of Michael’s lead vocals – ‘Billie Jean’, ‘The Way You Make Me Feel’ – and boy, did that raise some eyebrows!’,” Swedien said.

“But I love that mic, and I have six of them. Michael, Quincy, and Rod were also smart enough to leave me alone while I was mixing, and that meant I did my best work. They’d leave the room and I’d get it all shaped up and ready, and then they’d come back and we’d listen and make slight adjustments, but I don’t remember being too far out.”

Over the years, he also worked with Mick Jagger, Paul McCartney, Diana Ross, Chaka Khan, Jennifer Lopez, Barbra Streisand and Donna Summer.

Meanwhile, Eddie Van Halen fans recently paid tribute to the late Van Halen guitarist’s work on Michael Jackson’s classic 1982 hit ‘Beat It’.

Eddie Van Halen fans remember his work on Michael Jackson’s classic hit ‘Beat It’

After hearing the initial version of the track, Van Halen asked if he could rearrange the song and add a pair of solos. As he was finishing Jackson walked in.

“I didn’t know how he would react to what I was doing. So I warned him before he listened. I said, ‘Look, I changed the middle section of your song,’” Van Halen said. “Now in my mind, he’s either going to have his bodyguards kick me out for butchering his song, or he’s going to like it. And so he gave it a listen, and he turned to me and went, ‘Wow, thank you so much for having the passion to not just come in and blaze a solo, but to actually care about the song, and make it better.’”

Fans and musicians have today (October 7) been paying tribute to his work on the track, which he did for free and was never credited.

“When Eddie Van Halen was asked to do the solo on ‘Beat It’ from ‘Thriller’ he didn’t want to be credited or paid because it would make everything too complicated. He just asked for a case of beer and for MJ to give him dance lessons,” added Peter Rojas.

“In addition to Van Halen, Eddie Van Halen did the guitar solo for Michael Jackson’s ‘Beat It’ and was immortalized as a claymation hamburger in John Cusack’s Better Off Dead,” wrote fan Kevin M.Kruse.

Chance the Rapper compares Justin Bieber’s new album with Michael Jackson’s ‘Off The Wall’

“I feel like we should talk about how fire your album is,” Chance says before adding: “I would say, I’m gonna, this is no cap at all and I said this to you in Chicago, it’s some of the best music I’ve ever heard, period, it reminds me of when Michael Jackson made ‘Off The Wall’.

He continued: “Everybody that’s listening…I promise you it is literally groundbreaking music. Stuff that’s like, it’s just hard to explain and I don’t want to give away, like, the genres and all that stuff. But you went crazy and I already told you that. But, like, I’m just excited that everybody’s gonna get to hear that.”

‘Off The Wall’ was released in 1979 and spawned a number of classic hits including ‘Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough’, ‘Rock with You’, ‘Girlfriend’ and the album’s title track.

Bieber is set to head out on a ‘Changes’ North American tour in 2021, which was recently rescheduled due to the coronavirus crisis.

The pop star’s world tour was initially due to kick off in May but was postponed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The US tour will now begin on June 2, 2021 in San Diego at Pechanga Arena.

Bieber also recently filled in for Drake in DJ Khaled’s new video for ‘POPSTAR’. The video sees Khaled messaging Drake to persuade him to star in a video for the single, but after Drake turns him down, he turns to Bieber, who stars in the visual and raps Drake’s lines.

Spike Lee shares new version of Michael Jackson’s ‘They Don’t Care About Us’ video

In a statement, Lee said: “Great protest songs can’t get old, stale or non-relevant because the struggle still continues.  That’s why THEY DON’T REALLY CARE ABOUT US is the anthem during this chaotic, pandemic world we are all living in.

“To celebrate Michael Jackson’s born day, we have made the THEY DON’T REALLY CARE ABOUT US 2020 short film to continue the struggle for equality for all. That’s the truth, Ruth. Be safe.”

The protests seen in the new video were sparked in May 2020 after the death of George Floyd while in police custody in Minneapolis. Officer Derek Chauvin was charged with second-degree murder, while Thomas Lane, Tou Thao and J Alexander Keung Tuesday all face charges of aiding and abetting second-degree murder, and aiding and abetting second-degree manslaughter.

Meanwhile, LL Cool J has spoken out about police brutality, saying there needs to be a “different approach” when it comes to vetting officers. “We got to get a different system in place for vetting, better education, more psychological evaluations, a deeper background check so that we really know who is doing the policing,” he said.

Michael Jackson’s estate ends legal battle with ex-manager

It looked as if Tohme’s separate $3 million settlement lawsuit was put to bed mid-trial in May 2019, however, a written acceptance was never agreed on and the money was never paid, leaving Tohme with the option to sue again.

In November 2019, Tohme then sued estate representatives John Branca and John McClain for breach of contract in a bid to get the court to force them to hand the money over. Tohme alleged the draft of the agreement the estate sent him included terms he hadn’t agreed to and it was never signed, but it didn’t matter because they’d made an oral agreement.

The settlement in question would “irrevocably, unconditionally, release, acquit and forever discharge” any and all claims against each other, meaning that should Tohme receive his $3 million, he wouldn’t open any further lawsuits. “The intent of the settlement was to finally put to rest all of Tohme’s claims so that the Estate is not burdened by future litigation of old claims”, documents read, according to Billboard.

Tohme moved for summary judgment and the estate pushed back arguing that the parties had mutually understood the deal wouldn’t be final until it was signed off in writing. The estate argued that it was Tohme who breached their agreement by refusing to sign the agreed-upon release.

But on Tuesday (July 14), LA County Superior Court Judge Mark A. Young granted Tohme’s motion, deciding that the parties had formed an oral agreement and the evidence presented by Tohme suggested the estate, in refusing to pay, didn’t keep up its end of the deal.

“Here, the parties orally agreed to all of the terms and conditions of a settlement agreement,” Young said, noting specifically that their oral agreement included a mutual general release of claims. “Defendant fails to produce any evidence that parties intended for there to be a binding contract after a writing was produced, such that there exists a material issue of disputed fact.”

Paris Jackson grateful that Michael Jackson made her wear masks growing up

Speaking on a new episode of her reality series Unfiltered: Paris Jackson & Gabriel Glenn, Paris said: “When [Michael] was young, he would be in the studio and he’d look outside and he’d see kids on the playground and he couldn’t do that.

“He didn’t want that for us, so we wore masks.”

Continuing, Paris said she was grateful for her father’s decision because it meant she and her siblings were able to do normal things like other children their age.

“I appreciated it. It was nice. Because we were able to go to Chuck E. Cheese and Circus Circus and we were normal.”

Elsewhere in the episode, Paris explained that she struggled with the lack of privacy that came with having such a famous parent.

“For a long time I was just against letting the world in because I was just too scared to do it,” she said. “I have had to accept the fact that I do not and probably will never have a private life.”

Last month, Paris shared some unseen footage of her father as part of a trailer for her new reality series.

The footage shows Paris as a child at home with her father, as she explains: “You see a kid grow up in the public eye, you forget that I am a human. I was against letting the world in because it wasn’t a choice. I wasn’t ready then. I feel like I’m ready now.”

Meanwhile, it was revealed earlier this year that Paris has signed on to play Jesus in the upcoming independent drama Habit.

Nas reveals he’s working on two new projects, including a collaboration with Hit-Boy

“There’s some projects going on,” said the veteran MC. “One of them is, I was working with Hit-Boy, and I still am. And there’s another one I’m working on that I don’t wanna disclose. but Hit-Boy, that’s been fun working with him […] We’ve got some things.”

Hit-Boy, who signed to Kanye West’s GOOD Music imprint in 2011, has production credits on the rapper’s hit collaboration with Jay-Z ‘N*ggas In Paris’, as well as the likes of Drake‘s ‘Trophies’ and Travis Scott‘s ‘Sicko Mode’. He also produced and featured on Nipsey Hussle‘s Grammy-winning ‘Racks In The Middle’.

Nas last released an album in the form of 2018’s ‘Nasir’, produced by Kanye West during his so-called ‘Wyoming Sessions’. In February, meanwhile, he teamed up with his young namesake Lil Nas X for a live performance of his track ‘Rodeo’ at the Grammys.

The pair then went on to release a video for their ‘Rodeo’ remix, which took inspiration from The Matrix and Michael Jackson‘s ‘Thriller’.

Madonna once told Michael Jackson to “dress like a girl” for a music video, says Babyface

One song Riley produced was Jackson’s ‘In The Closet’. After playing the song during the battle, Babyface recalled a story involving Madonna and the king of pop.

Babyface remembered Jackson telling him: “‘Babyface, can you believe she wants me to dress like a girl?’”

Continuing, Babyface said: “He was like, ‘I’d never do that.’ He said, ‘She was trying to change it all up. It was crazy’…He was really mad about it.”

Jackson and Madonna were originally supposed to collaborate on ‘In the Closet’, which featured on the king of pop’s 1992 album ‘Dangerous’. Jackson asked her is she could write some lyrics for it inspired by the title.

“I started writing words and getting ideas and stuff and I presented them to him and he didn’t like them,” Madonna told Rolling Stone in 1992. “I think all he wanted was a provocative title, and ultimately he didn’t want the content of the song to… sort of, live up to the title.”

The song would later be released as a solo record, accompanied by a music video starring Naomi Campbell.

Speaking on the VERZUZ series, Timbaland told NME: “It’s a celebration of our heroes in music, the ones who make us feel a certain type of way. Given what’s currently going on in the world, it’s a way to give back. It’s also an education, it’s educating people on the music, its creators and where this feeling comes from.”

Swizz Beatz added: “It’s authentic. It’s educational, it’s interesting and it’s music. People love music, and they love good music. So what we wanted to do was celebrate the architects of good music – whether it was the writers, whether it was the producers, and we’re about to take it to a lot of different areas and a lot of different places.”

Red ons, tip-toin’
Push button, kill John
Road too, felt cool in an old school, Vince Vaughn
Vroom vroom, nitro with the turbo
Pour that Ace of Spades up, we don’t sweat no [?]
Got the [?] off of the top my shell, I’m a turtle
Shawty tryna find it, throw it in reverse though

[Chorus: Vic Mensa]
Aston Martin, push-button motor
Migos on the ice, anti-sauna
Go, oh, oh
Floss, floss, let me see how you work
You boys smokin’ dirt, we smokin’ Larry Bird
Straitjacket, go berzerk
Don’t get hurt, let me try to throw it in reverse
Don’t get hurt, let me try to throw it in reverse
Don’t get hurt, let me try to throw it in reverse

[Verse 2: G-Eazy]
Yeah, bend that ass over, throw it backwards
Moonwalkin’ to the n*gger like I’m Michael Jackson
Make a film with your bitch, turn into an actor
Shimmy out and then she ate a pill after
I get clothes from Vaccarello
I get [?] from [?]
I get packages from Paris, drop that Fed-Ex on my name
I get runway, off the runway, to the runway on the plane
Told you we are not the same, see that Spider switchin’ lanes
Give it some gas, look at the dash
What’s is he doin’? He goin’ fast
Look at the whip, look at him smash
Look at him skrt, look at the cash
It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s a man that’s gone insane
He’s in stage in a straight jacket, this is not a game
Yeah, lit like a candle, I been too much to handle
This velvet jacket’s fragile
‘Kay, be careful when you handle, please
Yeah, your hands look kind of dusty
Please be careful how you touch me
In Paris, out the country, ayy

[Chorus: Vic Mensa]
Aston Martin, push-button motor
Migos on the ice, anti-sauna
Go, oh, oh
Floss, floss, let me see how you work
You boys smokin’ dirt, we smokin’ Larry Bird
Straitjacket, go berzerk
Don’t get hurt, let me try to throw it in reverse
Don’t get hurt, let me try to throw it in reverse
Don’t get hurt, let me try to throw it in reverse

A$AP Ferg – Strive lyrics

(feat. Missy Elliott)

[Hook: A$AP Ferg]
You can be you today, you can be you tonight
Know you’re feelin’ really great, it’s gon’ be alright
I can see it in your face and I know you wanna fly
So get off your ass and create your life

[Post-Hook: A$AP Ferg]
Cause you’re missin’ opportunities
I know you’re rich in opportunities
And you’re missin’ opportunities
I know you’re rich in opportunities
Oh, oh, oh

[Verse 1: A$AP Ferg]
Workin’ in Ben & Jerry’s, it was scary
My life vision was blurry
You got talent, why’s you here?
I’m thinkin’, “Yeah, plus I am gettin’ a belly”
I remember mama screamin’
“You ain’t gon’ be like your Uncle Terry”
Uncle Terry on the corner sellin’ rocks
He don’t care what you tell him
He a hustler, bad muddastrudda
Ridin’ in a brand new Lex when he pull up
He got a hood bitch from the block in the winter
He pull up on her like, “Baby give me sugar, mane”
Man I wish I shoulda, coulda, woulda
Woulda put a hurtin’ on her if I hit her with the wood up
She got me dreamin’
When I get outta the hood, I’mma get me somethin’ better

[Hook: A$AP Ferg]
You can be you today, you can be you tonight
Know you’re feelin’ really great, it’s gon’ be alright
I can see it in your face and I know you wanna fly
So get off your ass and create your life

[Post-Hook: A$AP Ferg + Missy Elliott]
Cause you’re missin’ opportunities
I know you’re rich in opportunities
And you’re missin’ opportunities
I know you’re rich in opportunities
Oh, oh, oh

[Verse 2: Missy Elliott]
In VA, where I stay
They don’t play, they’ll tell you that to your face
Collard greens, candied yams, potato salad
Before you grub, better say your grace
Auntie Jean was kinda mean, but she had dreams
She used to sing like Tina Turner
She said, “Bring my wig and bring my dress
My high heel shoes from a Sunday mornin’ service”
Aye, she said, “I’ll show y’all beginners”
I’ll still whoop that ass with a switch and a splinter
Pray for these tramps runnin’ round like a sinner
Missy wanna be a star? Well tell her she’s a winner
Ayeeee, she a bad lil’ sumn’
Love how she dance like Michael Jackson
Told me I would be number one
Just be yourself, don’t be nothin’ like them

[Hook: A$AP Ferg]
You can be you today, you can be you tonight
Know you’re feelin’ really great, it’s gon’ be alright
I can see it in your face and I know you wanna fly
So get off your ass and create your life

[Post-Hook: A$AP Ferg]
Cause you’re missin’ opportunities
I know you’re rich in opportunities
And you’re missin’ opportunities
I know you’re rich in opportunities
Oh, oh, oh

Big Flip Papi – Money On The Way lyrics

Verse 1
It’s Okayi got money on the way
Chef it bag it up, yeah we hungry round the way
We do it real right, round the clock all night
That hustles in my blood, can’t get it out my life
G5 whips the color of rose gold
He fly switch, the phantom to the rose
Bezel on the Rollie uh, looking so bold
Back hammer out on homie, guaranteed your son will fold
Oh forgive you me you don’t know?
Whoaaa even Black Rob would say you got to go
No! Big Flip Papi that nigga
Call me Michael Jackson, with a million dollar zipper
Tipper, I fell in love with a stripper
Got money on the way, and she knows that I’m a hit her

Hook
It’s Okay I got money on the way
Cop it off the lot got money on the way
It’s okay I got money on the way
Pop that Ciroc got money on the way
It’s Okay I got money on the way
Money, Money, got money on the way
It’s Okay I got money on the way
Drop them checks, got money on the way

Verse 2
It’s Okay I left the trap to the youngings
They don’t play, steam the Mac if you fronting
Flee dropping checks, and a nigga came from nothing
Key round my neck, go getter, I ain’t stunting
They see my respect, so they know I ain’t bluffing
All them years locked up top, now I’m worth something
Villas, yachts, double shots at the bar
My hitters pop, licking shots at you frauds
And we always got back up, when we fall
Got money on the way, yeah, it’s knocking at my door
Flew to Italy shopped at designer stores
Bought her so many bags she ain’t even want more
I’m living good now, no doubts, so sure
Body bags at money banks, looking like a morgue
She bounce to the beat, ass dropping to the floor
Her money on the way
You make it rain, we make it pour

Ishawna Channels Michael Jackson For Raunchy New Single “Eat It”

Ishawna is cuing up “Equal Rights” part two, a song tentatively titled “Eat It.”

The female dancehall star ignited a heated debate in dancehall earlier this year with “Equal Rights” not just for its sexually explicit lyrics, but more for the message she is sending to the male fans in dancehall. Last weekend she previewed a new single that sounds more like a “Equal Rights” followup. The new single sampled Michael Jackson’s classic “Beat It” but Ishawn put a spin on it and say “Eat It.”

“Ishawna “Equal Rights” Jackson Ladies should I release the full version? #EatIt,” she wrote on Instagram. Some of her fans are saying it’s time for her to move on to another topic, while others support the new single. “Too much about eatings now its time to tackle another topic, this kind a getting played out now Ishawna,” one fan wrote. Nevertheless, sources inside her circle confirmed with Dancehall HipHop that the new single could arrive as early as this week.

Take a listen to the snippet below and leave your comment.

NAUGHTY BOY – One Chance To Dance lyrics

[Verse 1]
I’m no professional dancer
Baby, I ain’t no Michael Jackson
But I would learn any move
Get with any groove
Just to dance with you
I’ll let my feet do the talking
I met her out when I’m walking
Show you what I can do
And you know it’s true
When I dance with you

[Chorus]
Oh-oh-oh-oh, give me your hand
Oh-oh-oh-oh, I’ll be who I am
Oh-oh-oh-oh, I ain’t no Michael Jackson
But give me one chance, one chance to dance

[Post-Chorus]
Oh-oh-oh-oh
Give me one chance, one chance to dance
Oh-oh-oh-oh
Give me one chance, one chance to dance

[Verse 2]
I’m no professional dancer
Baby, give me your answer
I’ll practice everyday
Don’t care what record plays
When I dance with you
You take the lead and I’ll follow
I’ll take my pride and I’ll swallow
May not have Jagger moves
But I ain’t gonna lose
When I dance with you

[Chorus]
Oh-oh-oh-oh, give me your hand
I’ll be who I am
Oh-oh-oh-oh, I ain’t no Michael Jackson
But give me one chance, one chance to dance

[Post-Chorus]
Oh-oh-oh-oh
Give me one chance, one chance to dance
Oh-oh-oh-oh
Give me one chance, one chance to dance

[Bridge]
And if I fall to my knees
I won’t crumble and freeze
I’ll pick myself up and I’ll try it again, and again until you see
I’ll take you by the hand
Just listen to me
Oh baby, if you could just give me a half of a chance
To make you understand
I know exactly who I am
I ain’t no Michael Jackson
But give me one chance, one chance to dance

[Post-Chorus]
Give me one chance, one chance to dance
Give me one chance, one chance to dance
I ain’t no Michael Jackson
But give me one chance, one chance to dance
One chance, one chance to dance
One chance, one chance to dance

Talib Kweli & Styles P – Last Ones (The Seven Album)

(Yeah)
(What’s Happenin’?)
(What’s Happenin’?)
(What’s up, what’s happenin, what’s up?)

[Verse 1: Talib Kweli]
All my rap friends went crazy I’m the last one left
These haters prayin’ they can celebrate the last one’s death
None of them niggas in my class that couldn’t pass one test
But that’s what happens when you rappin’ on a [?] depth
I never chat shit
The flow bat-shit, it’s major league
Major Keys like Khaled (it’s accurate)
Recognize a dime when you pass it
With this weapon I’s rhymin’, I’m an assassin
Put nine minutes to the casket, you bastards
Stare in the abyss and the Leviathan (oh yea)
You say a prayer for the dying men
Looking for that pleasure but you findin’ sin
Can’t be scared to take a loss if you tryin’ to win

[Verse 2: Styles P]
Recognize greatness, tenacious
Gracious, mark of design, the new Matrix
I can make Dr. Strange brain look basic
MCs on the dinner menu and I ain’t ate shit
Who’s the entree? I’m a giant like Andre
You just an appetizer, weak rapper in harm’s way
These elite rhymes, prayers and peace signs
Staring at the air, fled the joint, hope the beast died
Icy ass road, no brakes let the Jeep slide
Playing hide and seek with my sleep, where did he hide?
Popular, hook philosopher since knee high
Ironic, I really ran with the wolves at G high
You ain’t hearing me, higher power preparing me
To have a higher power in rap for transparency
I’m clear to you, I’m here with you
High and in the cloud, I should put it in the air for you

[Hook: Talib Kweli & Styles P]
All my rap friends went crazy I’m the last one left
All my street homies crazy I’m the last one right
(Last ones, left right)
(Last ones, left right)
All my rap friends went crazy I’m the last one left
All my street homies crazy I’m the last one right
(Last ones, left right)
(Last ones, left right)
(Last ones)

[Verse 3: Talib Kweli]
Paint it like I’m JJ, for real I’m not for play play
If I work then I get paid, they whip them slaves like the nae nae
I’m smashin’ ’em if you askin’ ’em what’s happenin’ and they say
I’m original, you a re-run, Dwayne hey hey hey
Do the rise got my squad information like what bae say
I seen my brother you got to be more specific when you say bae
A spark like a melee, feelings I don’t placate
Give a fuck what Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney say say say
Fuck the KKK, respect the family, me and you got a play date
I’ll send you to hell and Satan will be your playmate
O-K-K, like Lil Scrappy but pay attention to what they say
Sound like some old "catch me on payday" type niggas who like to get missin’
Nah, pay what you want (cough it up), but you ain’t the homie, now you don’t know me
Hip-hop on my shoulders like the demons or the sheriff
Or the stick you use for measurin’, way too sick for medicine

[Hook: Talib Kweli & Styles P]
All my rap friends went crazy I’m the last one left
All my street homies crazy I’m the last one right
(Last ones, left right)
(Last ones, left right)
All my rap friends went crazy I’m the last one left
All my street homies crazy I’m the last one right
(Last ones, left right)
(Last ones, left right)

[Verse 4: Styles P]
All my street homies crazy I’m the last one right
Hatin’ cocksuckers hope I see the flash one night
‘Bout peace but I’ma grab my mask tonight
Man standin’, I’ma be the last one right
I rhyme wicked, I sit still, my mind vivid
Analyze the times and all of the signs with it
Pump fake the snakes and the rats and the swine with ’em
Smoke watch stars and go on the line with ’em, ghost

[Outro]
Oh, that my words were written
Oh, that they were inscribed in a book
Oh, that with an iron pen and lead they were engraved in the rock forever
Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just
Whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable
If there is any excellence, if there is anything worth of praise
Think about these things

Jacquees – B.E.D.

[Intro: PnB Rock]
Oh yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

[Hook: PnB Rock]
I’m with the gang, gang, gang and we ’bout to go up
Switching lanes, it’s a thang, every time we show up
You a lame, lame, lame and you so below us

‘Cause you know we blowed up
We stay down
And came up, and came up
We stay down
We came up, the gang up

[Verse 1: 2 Chainz]
2 Chainz (Yeah)
I’m a villainous winner
With precision, I’m killing
Represent the religion
Ended up independent
Took my car to the clinic
Let ’em check all the vitals
Middle finger to rivals
Michael Jackson, my idol
Still ducked in a pie hole
Talk to the plug, every day except Cinco de Mayo
I still got me a Carlo
Still got money, Carlo
Your car running so bad, it stink up to your parlor
Call my rollie a Ralo
Call my AP a app
I ain’t talking seat-belts when I say that I’m strapped
I’m in love with my side hoe
I sneak up through the side door
I’ma show you what we ride for
I’ma show you what we die for

[Hook: PnB Rock]
I’m with the gang, gang, gang and we ’bout to go up
Switching lanes, it’s a thang, every time we show up
You a lame, lame, lame and you so below us
Bet your hoe, she know us
‘Cause you know we blowed up
We stay down
And came up, and came up
We stay down
We came up, the gang up

[Verse 2: Young Thug]
I’m in my same lane, lane that ain’t gon’ ever change up
I blow the brain out the range like a Taz Angel
Here’s R.I.P. to Paul Walker homie, he gotta stand up
We had you main on us, no we got stains on us
And all we gotta do is stay down and come up while they flexin’ (What we gotta do?)
Yeah, I got her Indian and she Western
Yeah, just say so, money your best friend
Then that fast and furious started nesting
Say I’m bout to go take off on you (Take off on you)
Is staying, is you rolling like a scroller? yes you are
Your ready to take off like a 1980 Coke
He know that Instagram shit, are you gon’ post that

[Hook: PnB Rock]
I’m with the gang, gang, gang and we ’bout to go up
Switching lanes, it’s a thang, every time we show up
You a lame, lame, lame and you so below us
Bet your hoe, she know us
‘Cause you know we blowed up
We stay down
And came up, and came up
We stay down
We came up, the gang up

[Verse 3: Wiz Khalifa]
Yeah, I’m always with my gang
We always ready to ride ‘case for the squad, we’ll do anything
Stay down, we’ll never change
We always gon’ stay the same
Put you in check, when you outta place
I try to tell ’em not to mess with my gang, gang, gang
We do what we gotta do and don’t complain-plain-plain
I’m on the road, I’m probably fresh up off the plane, plane, plane
Know you heard about me, I do my thang, thang, thang
I got the world on my back
I put your girl on her back
I did it all on my own
Now there ain’t no turning back
And my whole squad got my back
And shawty so bad, I asked her if she repped the gang, she said "Facts"
Gang, gang, gang

[Hook: PnB Rock]
I’m with the gang, gang, gang and we ’bout to go up
Switching lanes, it’s a thang, every time we show up

‘Cause you know we blowed up
We stay down
And came up, and came up
We stay down
We came up, the gang up

I’m with the gang, gang, gang and we ’bout to go up
Switching lanes, it’s a thang, every time we show up
You a lame, lame, lame and you so below us
Bet your hoe, she know us
‘Cause you know we blowed up
We stay down
And crame up, and came up
We stay down
We came up, the gang up.

2 Chaiiiinz (Yeahhh)
I’m a villanious winner
With precision, I’m killing
We resent the religion
Ended up independent
Took my car to the clinic
Let ’em check all the vitals
Middle finger to rivals
Michael Jackson, my idol
Still ducked in a pie hole
Told to the plug, everyday except cinco de mayo
I still got me a Carlo
Still got money, Carlo
Your car running so bad, it stink up to your parlour
Call my rollie a Ralo
Call my AP a app
I ain’t talking seat-belts when I say that I’m strapped
I’m in love with my side hoe
I sneak up through the side door
I’ma show you what we ride for
I’ma show you what we die for.

I’m with the gang, gang, gang and we ’bout to go up
Switching lanes, it’s a thang, every time we show up
You a lame, lame, lame and you so below us
Bet your hoe, she know us
‘Cause you know we blowed up
We stay down
And came up, and came up
We stay down
We came up, the gang up.

I’m in my same lane, lane that ain’t gon’ ever change up
I blow the brain out the range like a tasandra
Here’s R.I.P. to Paul Walker homie, he gotta stand up
We had you main on us, no we got stains on us
And all we gotta do is stay down and come up while they flexin’ (What we gotta do)
Yeah, I got her Indian and she Western
Yeah, just say so, money your best friend
Then that fast and furious started nesting
Say I’m bout to go take off on you (Take off on you)
Is staying, is you rolling like a scroller? yes you are
Your ready to take off like a 1980 Coke
He know that Instagram shit, all you gon’ post that.

I’m with the gang, gang, gang and we ’bout to go up
Switching lanes, it’s a thang, every time we show up
You a lame, lame, lame and you so below us
Bet your hoe, she know us
‘Cause you know we blowed up
We stay down
And came up, and came up
We stay down
We came up, the gang up.

Yeah, I’m always with my gang
We always ready to ride for the squad, we’ll do anything
Stay down, we’ll never change
We always gon’ stay the same
Put you in check, when you outta place
I try to tell ’em not to mess with my gang, gang, gang
We do what we gotta do and don’t complain-plain-plain
I’m on the road, I’m probably fresh up off the plane, plane, plane
Know you heard about me, I do my thang, thang, thang
I got the world on my back versuri-lyrics.info
I put your girl on her back
I did it all on my own
Now there ain’t no turning back
And my whole squad got my back
And shawty so bad, I asked her if she repped the gang, she said “Facts”
Gang, gang, gang.

I’m with the gang, gang, gang and we ’bout to go up
Switching lanes, it’s a thang, every time we show up
You a lame, lame, lame and you so below us
Bet your hoe, she know us
‘Cause you know we blowed up
We stay down
And came up, and came up
We stay down
We came up, the gang uppp.

A. Chal – To The Light

[Intro]
I found a way, to that light
Fuck the money, I found the li-ight
I said I found a way, to that light
To that light, I got it right

[Chorus]
I said I found a way, to that light
Fuck the money, I found the li-ight
I said I found a way, to that light
To that light, I got it right
I said I found a way, to that light
Fuck the money, I found the li-ight
I said I found a way, to that light
To that light, to that light

[Verse 1]
Blowin’ all this cash on the things that never last
I don’t want it, you can have it
Countin’ up this bag while I’m smokin’ out the bag
With my brother, yo roll another
Eyes bloodshed, marijuana
Starin’ at the eyes of my karma
I’m open, Michael Jackson and Nirvana
I’m tryna find my way to my dogma

[Chorus]
I said I found a way, to that light
Fuck the money, I found the li-ight
I said I found a way, to that light
To that light, I got it right
I said I found a way, to that light
Fuck the money, I found the li-ight
I said I found a way, to that light
To that light, I got it right

[Verse 2]
Now I see the signs, that’s why I’m pressin’ decline
When you call me, ain’t tryna hear it (hello?)
I turn to the guy that you said I couldn’t ride
Like it’s magic, I’m disappearin’
Head lookin’ down at my collar
I’ve been doin’ things how I wanna
Focused on the fam in mi casa
What you talkin’ ’bout? What you fall off?

[Chorus]
I said I found a way, to that light
Fuck the money, I found the li-ight
I said I found a way, to that light
To that light, I got it right
I said I found a way, to that light
Fuck the money, I found the li-ight
I said I found a way, to that light
To that light, I got it right

Future – Incredible Lyrics

[Intro]
It’s a light day
Ain’t got on nothin’ but about $700 thousand worth
That’s it
You know what I’m sayin’?

[Verse 1]
I was havin’ trust issues
But I’ve been havin’ way better luck since you
I know it’s true love with you
Told myself I don’t wanna fall in love with you
Rollin’ on the eway speedin’
Friday, just started the weekend
XO textin’, you respondin’
We gon’ go crazy with this money
We do hot yoga, 92 degrees
Can you stretch it out? Stretch it out for me
I got somewhere to be, but it’s hard to leave
When you do it like you mean it, I’m proceedin’
Is you the one? Is you the one?
Then she looked me in my eyes
Told me, “Fuck them pussy niggas
They ain’t ridin’ ’cause I’m ridin’
And I’m dyin’ for you, baby”
Got me feelin’

[Chorus]
In-incredible
In-in-incredible
In-in-incredible
Incredible

[Verse 2]
We can do exactly what you like, baby
And it’s all on me
We can take Vicodin tonight, baby
It’s all on me
We been textin’ back and forth
Now it’s time to get it crackin’
Girl take it all out, ’cause I know you active
Did you come to talk or is you ’bout that action?
Diamonds on my neck, moonwalkin’, Michael Jackson
I’ma have your body sweatin’ like you dipped in baby oil
I’ma do whatever it’s gon’ take to keep my baby spoiled
I’ma do whatever it’s gon’ take to shake these haters off
Put it off, fuck the cops
I just wanna show you off
I can see your flaws, she gon’ take me how I am
Hit it from the back, girl you know I’m goin’ ham
Fuck the pigs, girl you got me feelin’ like the man
Yeah, yeah

[Chorus]
In-in-incredible
In-in-incredible
In-in-incredible
Incredible
Yeah, yeah
Way you move your body, girl I’ll give you an advance
Know you, girl, you fuckin’ with a full-grown man
The way you move your body, I’ma have a change of plans
In-in-in-incredible
In-in-incredible
In-in-incredible
Incredible
Yeah, yeah

[Verse 3]
I’ma have your body sweatin’ like you dipped in baby oil
I’ma do whatever it take to keep my fuckin’ baby sprung
I’ma do whatever it takes to shake these fuckin’ bitches off
I’ma do whatever it takes and you gon’ be my personal
Dance, dance, girl you dancin’ like you strippin’ for this gold
Romance and we’ve all done been here before
But your passion, I hear it when you’re talkin’
We ain’t clashin’, you quiet when I’m talkin’
Put them diamonds on you, have ’em Billie Jean moonwalkin’
Put them diamonds on you, have ’emmmmm moonwalkin’
You get into everything exclusively, I’m honest
We don’t need nobody comin’ in between this money
These niggas already tryna invade the embassy
Good thing I changed and you got that remedy
The best thing about you, oh you’re that far from me
You a star to me

[Chorus]
In-in-incredible
In-in-incredible
In-in-incredible
Incredible
Yeah, yeah
Way you move your body, girl I’ll give you an advance
Know you, girl, you fuckin’ with a full-grown man
The way you move your body, I’ma have a change of plans
In-in-in-incredible
In-in-incredible
In-in-incredible
Incredible
In-in-incredible
In-in-incredible
In-in-incredible
Incredible
Yeah, yeah

Busted – Year 3000

One day when I came home at lunchtime I heard a funny noise
Went out to the backyard to find out if it was one of those rowdy boys
Stood there was my neighbor called Peter and a flux capacitor

He told me he’d built a time machine like one in a film I’ve seen yeah, yeah

He said
I’ve been to the year 3000
Not much has changed but they lived underwater
And your great, great, great-granddaughter is pretty fine (Is pretty fine)

He took me to the future in the flux thing and I saw everything
Boy bands and another one and another one and another one
Triple breasted women swim around town totally naked

We drove around in the time machine like one in a film I’ve seen Yeah, yeah

He said
I’ve been to the year 3000
Not much has changed but they lived underwater
And your great, great, great-granddaughter is pretty fine (Is pretty fine)

I took a trip to the year 3000
This song had gone multi-platinum
Everybody bought our seventh album
It had outsold Michael Jackson
I took a trip to the year 3000
this song had gone multi-platinum
Everybody bought our seventh album

We drove around in the time machine like one in a film I’ve seen
Yeah, yeah

I’ve been to the year 3000
Not much has changed but they lived underwater
And your great, great, great-granddaughter is pretty fine
She’s pretty fine

He said
I’ve been to the year 3000
Not much has changed but they lived underwater
And your great, great, great-granddaughter is pretty fine
