Calvin Harris, Carl Cox and more announced for Glastonbury’s Arcadia

The spider will be back at the Worthy Farm festival from June 22-26, with Billie Eilish, Paul McCartney and Kendrick Lamar set to headline the Pyramid Stage.

Other names on the Arcadia line-up include Jon Hopkins, Kurupt FM, Nia Archives, Nina Kravis, TSHA and more. See the full list below.

Yesterday (April 26), Jonathan Pie, Nish Kumar, Pam Ayers, Siegfried & Joy and Josh Widdicombe were among the names announced for Glastonbury‘s Theatre and Circus fields.

The Theatre and Circus area at Glastonbury involves the transformation of three fields at Worthy Farm, with more than 1000 performances on stages both day and night.

Last week also saw the announcement of the 2022 line-up for Glastonbury‘s Silver Hayes area. Fatboy Slim, Romy and Mura Masa will be joined by the likes of Berwyn, Leon Vynehall, Bad Boy Chiller Crew, Sofia Kourtesis and more.

Elsewhere, Sugababes, The Damned, Imelda May and John Cooper Clarke were announced for this year’s Field Of Avalon line-up at the festival.

Glastonbury have also launched a new, official TikTok account. The latest video posted to the account was a brief history of the festival’s famous Pyramid Stage.

We Are FSTVL announces 2021 line-up, features Carl Cox, The Blessed Madonna and more

Launched in 2013, the event will this year see stages hosted by Paradise, Defected, Glitterbox, Circoloco, Abode, Bassjam, PIV and Centreforce.

Saturday and weekend tickets for the event have sold out. The last few Sunday tickets are available via the festival’s official website.

Other major festivals such as Reading and Leeds, Latitude, Parklife, Isle Of Wight and Wireless have also confirmed their plans to go ahead this summer.

However, their plans are entirely dependent on the success of the roadmap – including on vaccinations going to plan, COVID-19 variants not causing new problems, and the infection rate sufficiently lowering.

Meanwhile, The Blessed Madonna, FKA The Black Madonna, has addressed her recent name change in response to the amplified global conversation on race.

The US DJ-producer, whose real name is Marea Stamper, said in July that she “should have listened harder to other perspectives” about her stage name – in response to a petition that urged her to change it.

In a recent interview, Stamper said the decision and process was “a very Catholic experience” because it showed her commitment to acting on her principles.
