“You said you hated the ocean but you’re surfin’ now,” Cabello sings over an acoustic guitar at the start of the clip.

She continues: “I said I’d love you for life but I just sold our house/ We were kids at the start, I guess we’re grown ups now/ Couldn’t ever imagine even having doubts/ But… not everything works out” (via Billboard).

Elsewhere, Cabello can be heard singing snippets of Spanish on the tropical-tinged pop track.

The new song follows 2021’s ‘Don’t Go Yet’ and ‘Oh Na Na’, the latter of which featured Myke Towers and Tainy. Both tracks are also set to feature on ‘Familia’.

Announcing her third solo album last year, Cabello said the record was inspired by spending more time with her family during the COVID-19 lockdowns – an experience that helped her return to her Latin roots.

“I want it to be that kind of family affair selfishly, because it would make me happy,” she told Apple Music’s Zane Lowe. “It would make my life better and that’s what I want, so that’s really what I was trying to manifest with this whole album.”

She added: “‘Don’t Go Yet’ is just I think sonically and melodically, just me being free. I think being in Miami for so long and having more family around me and speaking Spanish more made me feel, I don’t know, just kind of brought me back. I think my roots went deeper in a way that I really needed. And I think this album for me was a manifestation.”

Meanwhile, in September, the singer put a sultry spin on Olivia Rodrigo’s hit single ‘Good 4 U’ during a session in BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge. Instead of the pop-punk energy possessed by the original, Cabello gave the song a Latin twist.

New ‘Cinderella’ film starring Camila Cabello set for Amazon Prime Video

Cabello, in a starring role, will be joined by a supporting cast including Idina Menzel, Billy Porter, Nick Galitzine, Minnie Driver, Pierce Brosnan and James Corden, the latter of whom will also produce the film.

The report adds that Cabello had a big say in the music of the film, which will feature both original music of hers alongside contemporary pop songs.

Of the film’s plot, the report adds: “The film is a musically-driven new take on the traditional story. Cinderella is an ambitious young woman whose dreams are bigger than the world will allow. With the help of her Fab G (Billy Porter) she musters the courage to make her dreams come true.”

The film is the second Cinderella-related film to be announced for release this year, with Bridesmaids creators Kristen Wiig and Annie Mumolo recently announced to create a new film for Disney about Cinderella’s stepsisters.

Elsewhere, Cabello this year launched the Healing Justice Project, a fund to provide mental health support for frontline workers and activists.

The singer has partnered with the Movement Voter Fund to provide funding to ten organisations for resources to help with their workers’ mental wellbeing. Cabello provided the seed money for the venture, and the first round of ten grants will total nearly $250,000 (£180,000).

Camila Cabello & Daddy Yankee – Havana (Remix)

[Intro: Pharrell Williams]
Hey

[Chorus: Camila Cabello & Pharrell Williams]
Havana, ooh na-na (ayy)
Half of my heart is in Havana, ooh na-na (ayy, ayy)
He took me back to East Atlanta, na-na-na
Oh, but my heart is in Havana (ayy)
There’s somethin’ ’bout his manners (uh huh)
Havana, ooh na-na (uh)

[Verse 1: Camila Cabello & Pharrell Williams]
Él vino a buscarme y ahí lo supe (uh)
(Vi clara su actitud)
Me dijo: "son tantas las que yo tuve" (uh)
(Pero me faltas tú)
No puedo soltarte, no seas tan cruel (hey)
(Desde esa noche azul)
Mi papá me dice que malo es él (uh)
¿Qué más puedo hacer?

[Pre-Chorus: Camila Cabello]
Ooh-ooh-ooh, lo supe en un segundo
Él cambiaría mi mundo
Ya no puedo más
Ooh-ooh-ooh, ay es que me duele mucho
Decir adiós, oh na-na-na-na-na

[Chorus: Camila Cabello, Pharrell Williams & Daddy Yankee]
Havana, ooh na-na (ayy)
Half of my heart is in Havana, ooh-na-na (ayy, ayy)
He took me back to East Atlanta, na-na-na
Oh, but my heart is in Havana (ayy)
My heart is in Havana (D-D-DY)
Havana, ooh na-na

[Verse 2: Daddy Yankee]
Soy el domador de todas las nenas malas
Muchos corazones clavado en el sofá de mi sala
Todavía recuerdo lo que le dije aquella mañana
La primera que quiero como la Habana
Mami ¿qué bolá?, ooh-na-na
Ta’ acompañada o andas sola, ooh-na-na (sola, sola)
Pero que fácil me descontrola, ooh-na-na
Tú me quemas, vuelves y me enrolas, me enrolas (ah, ah)
Llegamo’ pal’ mambo, suéname el tambor
Pa’ que te recuerdes de La Habana y el campo
La libertad que bien te sabe
¿Cuándo volverá? sólo Dios sabe
Mami ¿qué bolá?, ooh-na-na
Ta’ acompañada o andas sola, ooh-na-na (sola, sola)
Pero que fácil me descontrola, ooh-na-na
Tú me quemas, vuelves y me enrolas, me enrolas (ah, ah)
Camila y Ramón Ayala de un pájaro son las dos alas

[Chorus: Camila Cabello & Pharrell Williams]
Havana, ooh na-na (ayy, ayy)
Half of my heart is in Havana, ooh na-na (oh, ayy, ayy)
He took me back to East Atlanta, na-na-na (oh, no)
Oh, but my heart is in Havana (ayy)
My heart is in Havana (ayy)
Havana, ooh na-na

[Bridge: Starrah, Camila Cabello & Daddy Yankee]
Ooh na-na, oh-na-na-na (oo-ooh)
Vamos pa’ la habana, vamos pa’ la habana
Take me back, back, back like…
Ooh na-na, oh na-na-na (yeah, babe)
Vamos pa’ la habana, vamos pa’ la habana
Take me back, back, back (like…)
Ooh na-na, oh na-na-na (yeah, yeah)
Mucha ropa cara pa’ la habana-bana-bana
Take me back, back, back like…
Ooh na-na, oh na-na-na (yeah, babe)
D-D-DY, DY, Camila Cabello
