GloRilla quickly returned the favour by posting a video of her reptile terrarium. In the video, you hear her calling out “Boosie! Hey there, Boosie Woosie,” to her pet lizard. She continued:”Look at that Badazz. Look at my new thing. … Say hey to my new addition. Hey Boosie!”

Fans are now speculating whether or not the interaction was a cause of some kind of unknown tension between the two or if it was all just harmless jokes.

In other news, GloRilla has teased a new single on Instagram with fellow rap star Lil Durk – set to be released soon.

The artist previewed the new collaboration on her Instagram page with the caption: “Say @lildurk dats how you feel… NEW MUSIC TOMORROW 9am/12pm est!”.

Meanwhile, last month, a third person from the recent crowd stampede at a GloRilla gig in Rochester, New York died . Aisha Stephens was the final remaining hospitalised victim from the stampede and the third casualty.

GloRilla released her highly-anticipated debut EP, ‘Anyway, Life’s Great…’, last November to great acclaim, peaking at Number Four on the US Rap Billboard chart.

Boosie Badazz responds to backlash over homophobic Lil Nas X comments

In a since-deleted tweet, Boosie launched into a homophobic rant using slurs and suggesting that the star to kill himself.

“Stop trolling me f****t Lol. U a whole bitch playing with a gangsta SMH U can keep sucking dick n getting fucked n your ass n peace,” the tweet began. “N #uhateyourself I would too if I was you LOL.”

He ended the tweet, writing: “NasX if you #commitsuicide you would do this world a huge favor Nobody wants U here.”

After experiencing a lot of backlash for his comments, Boosie took to social media on Sunday (October 24) to respond to the online chatter.

“If yall think the whole world hate me ‘yall trippin’,” he wrote. ”I have international love N respect for how I am N what I stand for N never forget theres a ghetto N every city, state, country etc who rock with boosie FRFR #therealest.”

Back in July, Boosie told the 22-year-old that he would “beat his ass” while using homophobic slurs against him. The video clip saw Boosie defending DaBaby‘s homophobic comments about HIV and AIDS at Rolling Loud Miami as well as calling Nas X “the most disrespectful motherfucker in the world”.

Meanwhile, earlier this month, Lil Nas X revealed that he wants to work with SZA, Tyler, The Creator, Lady Gaga and a number of other high-profile artists.

The ‘Montero (Call Me By Your Name)’ rapper took to TikTok on October 10 to share a series of images of the artists who are on his collaboration wish list.

Elsewhere, Dolly Parton recently gave her stamp of approval to Lil Nas X‘s recent cover of her signature song ‘Jolene’.

Lil Nas X hits back at Boosie Badazz’s homophobic threats

Retweeting a screenshot of comments from former basketball star Nick Young calling Boosie’s comments “facts” and “freedom of speech,” according to Billboard, Nas X replied that the comments in question were “not what we what we meant by freedom of speech”.

He also commented on Lil Nas X jokingly suggesting that he and Jack Harlow would perform the song naked at the VMAs for charity, saying: “If I’m at the awards and he go up there naked, I’ma drag his ass offstage and beat his ass.”

In another playful move, Nas X quote tweeted a link captioned “Lil Nas X responds to Boosie & T.I” – referring to the latter’s support of DaBaby’s homophobic comments as well – adding: “I usually don’t respond to negativity from my peers. But this had to be said,” he wrote.

Rather than offering any such statement, however, the link simply opens the video for ‘Industry Baby’.

The 22-year-old rapper alluded to the controversay again when he tweeted: “I’m starting to think you n****s gay too cuz y’all stay on my dick,” and later, “Some of y’all not even mad that I’m gay, some of y’all mad that I’m gay and still succeeding.”

Earlier today (July 30), Madonna became the latest high-profile name to call out DaBaby’s homophobic comments.

Multiple artists and organisations have criticised DaBaby for his comments after they were first made. Elton John – who founded the Elton John AIDS Foundation charity in 1992 – took to Instagram to condemn his statements, saying they “fuel stigma and discrimination.”

Dua Lipa, who collaborated with DaBaby on a remix of her song ‘Levitating’, said she was “surprised and horrified” by the rapper’s comments.

Boosie Badazz brother avoids jail time for allegedly stealing $300,000 from the rapper.

A couple months ago, the Baton Rouge rapper posted a video on social media venting about his family member who stole hundreds of thousands of dollars from him. Turns out he went ahead and filed charges against his brother, Taquari Hatch, for allegedly siphoning $361,000 from his account. TMZ reported that the district attorney has decided not to file charges despite cops busting him for stealing the money.

Taquari Hatch was arrested and charged with fraud and identity theft after he allegedly posed as Boosie and authorized several wire transfers. Boosie brother has maintained his innocence and now the D.A. is siding with him and not file any charges due to sufficient evidence.

Taquari posted a video responding to the allegations saying that he has his piece of mind because he is innocent. “So the last thing is like, we see how social media trials played out all the time,” he said. “But trolling, all trolls that don’t bother me all of that sh*t I see it all the time. There is no piece of mind like knowing that you’re innocent. You can’t buy that, can’t nobody hook you up with that, your influence can’t get that. Knowing that you’re innocent is piece of mind that is priceless, and that is what I got in this situation.”

He also added that he will need a little more time to fully clear his name.
